VMware Server 2.0 comes with a web interface as a main management interface. There are however fat console clients installed through the browser. You will typically be able to find the fat console client in ~/.mozilla/firefox/$profile/extensions/VMwareVMRC@vmware.com/plugins where it's called vmware-vmrc.

If you have a windows based pc you can also use a full fat .Net based client which is the same client that is used for managing ESX. If you have a linux based host with VMware Server you can find the fat windows client in /usr/lib/vmware/hostd/docroot/client/VMware-viclient.exe

This client was included in the linux version of VMware Server 2.0, but seems to be missing from newer versions. You can still get it from the older VMware Server package, ESXi 3.5, or from the internet.
