In VMware Fusion, how do I edit some settings that are only in the .VMX file?

VMware Fusion 1.1 does not provide a GUI for changing all the settings available in the .VMX file. You can always use "vi" from the command line, or check this Community forum post for a 3rd party free tool: http://communities.vmware.com/thread/92087
